Speaker 1: Prof. John A. Rogers

Dr. John A. Rogers is a Louis Simpson and Kimberly Querrey Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Medicine, with affiliate appointments in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Chemistry at the Northwestern University, where he is also Director of the Center for Bio-Integrated Electronics. He obtained B.A. and B.S. degrees in chemistry and in physics from the University of Texas--Austin, in 1989. From MIT, he received S.M. degrees in physics and in chemistry in 1992 and his Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry in 1995.

Speaker 2: Prof. Lan Yin

Dr. Lan Yin is currently working as an Associate Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University, China. She received her bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University and Carnegie Mellon University, respectively. Her current research is focused on biodegradable materials and electronics targeting applications for the environment and healthcare.
